Doorstep Ministry Exposure

A small group of our students visited Operation Honour, a ministry serving migrant workers in Geylang through food and clothing distribution.
It was a humbling evening, as we witnessed a long line of workers coming to receive food, clothing, kitchenware and tracts. The simple act of giving and receiving reminded us of God’s love for the foreigners among us, and His call to serve with compassion.
During the debrief, one of their regular volunteers shared a powerful testimony: that very evening, after weeks of ongoing conversations, a migrant worker made the decision to give his life to Jesus.
We were blessed by the experience, seeing the joy and gratitude on the faces of the workers, sharing small conversations, and realising how God’s presence was already at work among them and in us. It was a reminder that in serving others, we ourselves are refreshed and drawn closer to Christ.
