BASIC DEGREES
The basic degree programme for full time Christian ministry is the Bachelor of Divinity (BD) or the Master of Divinity (MDiv). It seeks to provide foundational knowledge and skills for effective Christian ministry.
In July 2005, TTC launched the degree of Master of Theological Studies (MTS). This is in response to requests from Christians who, while not considering full time ministry, seek nonetheless to be trained theologically so as to serve effectively as lay leaders in the Church or bear witness authentically to the Gospel in the market place. This programme is concentrated and concise covering all the main theological disciplines, but also allows enough flexibility for prospective students to pursue their special interests.
Candidates are regarded as full members of the College and are therefore expected to participate in the life and activities of the community at TTC.
