HOW TO APPLY
To be considered for admission, an applicant must fulfil all the entrance requirements pertaining to the Programme applied for and:
- Fill in an online application form
- Submit a set of supporting documents to the Registrar’s Office
APPLICATION SEASON
The application season for each academic year beginning in July:
1) International applicants and advanced degree applicants: November to 31 January before the intended year of study
2) Residents in Singapore applying for basic programme: November to 28 February before the intended year of study
A late fee of S$60 will be levied on all late applications, provided that they are submitted within two weeks after the closing date, and all the relevant documents are included. Applications with incomplete documentation will not be accepted.
INTERVIEW
BD/MDiv Applicants from Singapore are required to come for a personal interview. BD/MDiv Applicants from other countries will be interviewed via skype or qq or other form of social media.
Applicants of other programmes may be interviewed at the discretion of the Admissions Committee.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Student Pass Application Procedure
The Immigration & Checkpoint Authority (ICA) of Singapore provides online application for Student Pass. The Registrar’s Office will initiate the application process once the student has accepted the offer of admission to TTC, and will also provide guidance for the Student Pass application. Please email us at registrar@www.ttc.edu.sg for advice if you plan to have accompanying family members.
Note: TTC will not be able to admit international students if their application for Student Pass is rejected by the ICA.
Vaccination Requirements
Note ICA’s Covid-19-related requirements from 1 Nov 2021 here (click link).
For those foreign-born aged 12 years and below, submission of vaccination information is required from 1 Feb 2019. Click ICA link and also HPB link for details.
Financial Requirement
Self-financing international applicants are required to pay in advance, one year’s full tuition fees, room and board charges, as well as the immigration deposit (which is refundable) upon successful admission to a degree programme.
International applicants will need to take into consideration all pandemic-related costs. Please refer to the Safe Entry Portal: https://safetravel.ica.gov.sg/arriving/overview
In the event that a student withdraws from studies at TTC, the full deposit of fees (except for S$100 administrative fee) will be refunded if the Registrar’s Office receives a request of withdrawal in writing, at least 14 days before the commencement of the new semester.
ADMISSION / REJECTION NOTICE
Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application via email or by post.
Successful applicants must reply using the “Reply Slip” by the due date indicated in the Letter of Offer.
All prospective students are expected to attend an Orientation Programme and College Retreat held on the first week of July. Matriculation will be conducted during the orientation, and students who are not matriculated will not be able to commence their studies.
