Update For news update from Rev Wilfredo R Adriano (Dong) (BD 1988), in Davao City, Philippines.

*Studies. Pastor Dong has started in his studies last month at the Asia Graduate School of Theology (AGST) on Biblical Studies for a two-year Master of Theology (Th.M.) degree. His class for January 12-16, 2015 is on Theology of Luke-Acts under Dr. Samson Uytanlet. Venue is at the Biblical Seminary of the Philippines (BSOP) in Karuhatan Street, Valenzuela City, Metro-Manila.

*Unity Movement. Pastor Dong continues to faithfully participate in the Davao City Ministerial Fellowship (DCMF) and the newly named Metro Davao Pastors Fellowship (MDPF) for monthly fellowship meetings and activities. Every Wednesday pastors and leaders of both fellowships play basketball games together from 7-10 AM at Montaña Gym, Agdao. He leads a short devotional before the game and then officiates 8-9 games as referee.

*Bible Studies. As chaplain of Barangay 75-A, Matina Aplaya, Pastor Dong shares the Word of God every other Monday morning after the flag ceremony at 8 AM to the leaders and workers of our village. He also leads a Bible study on Women of the Old Testament at the Faith Academy Mindanao (FAM) for the office staff of 7 every Monday afternoon.

Rev Dr Jeffrey Kuan Kah-Jin (BTh 1980) who has been elected to Chair the Foundation for Theological Education in Southeast Asia (FTESEA).

Dr Kuan is President and Professor of Hebrew Bible at Claremont School of Theology, California, USA. FTESEA is involved in collaborative relationships with theological schools, leaders of churches, and ecumenical theological networks especially in China and South East Asia. TTC was a beneficiary of FTESEA funds in its early years of development.

Bishop-elect Rev Dr Chong Chin Chung (DThE 2008) who was elected on 13 September at the General Conference of the Methodist Church in Singapore.

Rev Dr Chong is the incumbent President of the Chinese Annual Conference and a member of the TTC Board of Governors. The consecration service will be held on 2 December.

Bishop Dr Wee Boon Hup (MDiv 1984) who was awarded the title of Bishop Emeritus. Bishop Wee, a former Chairman of our Board, retires at the end of this year.
