Synopsis

Christians in Asia must often deal with what seem like manifestations from the spirit world. What are we to make of them? How can we tell if they originate from God, other spirits, or the human psyche? In this course we will look at the importance of developing discernment as part of spiritual maturity. We will seek to answer these questions by examining some extraordinary phenomena that Christians encounter, especially in the context of primal religions. They include recurring phenomena in some churches (prophecies, special revelations, slain in the Spirit, etc.) and some less frequent phenomena (levitation, poltergeist, etc.).
