Synopsis

Our course seeks to understand better Paul’s missionary journeys so as to draw crucial lessons for our work and witness as the Christian Church. The current course is the first part of this endeavour, focusing on the beginnings of the Church of Antioch and their crucial role in commissioning Paul and Barnabas and the subsequent missionary journey they took. Archaeological data will be utilised to illuminate our understanding of the settings and issues of their missionary work and the primary message they proclaimed. It is also hoped that those who are planning to visit, or lead groups to visit, biblical lands will find much benefit in this course.
