The Creedal Spirit Conference held at St Mellitus College

Dr Edmund Fong attended and participated at The Creedal Spirit Conference held at St Mellitus College, London, on 30 Apr to 1 May 2025. The conference commemorated and celebrated the 1700th anniversary of Nicaea, and it consisted of five plenary lectures and different seminar streams ranging from the biblical, missional, historical and systematic theology, and philosophical tracks. Keynote speakers for the conference included Dr Beverly Roberts Gaventa, Professor Ilaria L.E. Ramelli FRHist, Rt Rev Rowan Williams, Professor Bruce McCormack, and Dr Amos Yong. Dr Fong presented a paper at the Systematic Theology seminar stream titled “‘One Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God…begotten of the Father before all ages’:  Robert Jenson’s reading of the pre-existence of Christ.”
