Dr Leonard Wee at Langham Postdoctoral Fellowship

Rev Dr Leonard Wee was recently granted a postdoctoral research fellowship by the Langham Partnership (a ministry founded by the late Rev John Stott in UK). It is a four-year programme with partial financial support from TTC. He just completed a one-month residential programme (June 2016) at Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky, together with 9 other scholars from Argentina, Brazil, Romania, Nigeria, Ethiopia, India, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore.

The scholars are expected to publish at least one monograph and two articles by the end of four years. Senior scholars from various institutions in UK, Canada and US are providing support as mentors in the programme, led by Professor Markus Bockmuehl from Oxford University. Dr Leonard’s research is on the use of the Old Testament historical narratives in the Letter to the Hebrews.
