On 21 March, Principal Dr Ngoei and three senior faculty members warmly welcomed a distinguished group of visitors from Shanghai. They were Imam Musa Jin (President of Shanghai Islamic Association), Professor Yan Kejia (Director of Institute of Religious Studies, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, SASS), Dr Huang Haibo (Institute of Religious Studies) and Dr Hei Ying (Centre for the Study of Religion and Culture). The discussions were frank and far ranging, about the development of Christian and Islamic theological education as well as academic exchange between TTC and SASS. TTC hosted our visitors to dinner after a long and fruitful discussion.

The visitors were in Singapore for a Joint Seminar between Studies in Inter-Religious Relations in Plural Societies (SRP), S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) and the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences/Institute of Religious Studies.
