Soon Hong Kee Scholarship: An Alumni Fellowship Tea

A fellowship tea was held on Fri 28 Feb 2025 at the TTC Alumni Centre for alumni of the Soon Hong Kee Scholarship. Besides past and current scholarship recipients, present at the tea were the great-granddaughter of Mr Soon Hong Kee, Ms Doreen Soon, Chairperson of the Soon Hong Kee (SHK) Scholarship Trust Fund Committee; Committee members and friends of the Soon family.

All present at the gathering were encouraged by the testimonies of God’s faithfulness through the provision of the scholarship sponsored by the Soon family.

The Soon Hong Kee Scholarship is supported by the Trust Fund set up by Mr Soon Boon Seng and his family in 1966. The scholarship was named in memory of Mr Soon Boon Seng’s father, Mr Soon Hong Kee, for the training of candidates to serve the Chinese Methodist Churches in Singapore and Malaysia in full-time Christian ministry.
