Langham Scholars’ Consultation at TTC

On 19 – 21 February 2017 a number of Langham scholars in Asia (India, Malaysia, Philippine, Singapore, Papua, Vietnam and China) who studied in various parts of the world (UK, USA, Singapore, Philippine, India, New Zealand) gathered again at Trinity Theological College (TTC) in Singapore to attend the 3rd Langham Asian Consultation (LAC).

SERVE Youths Visit TTC

On 13th February 2017, 35 youths from SERVE visited Trinity Theological College (TTC). SERVE is a 3-month training programme that allows youths to explore the various arms and partners of the Diocese of Singapore (Anglican). This visit to TTC encourages the youths to explore the possibility of getting theologically equipped or even entering full-time ministry in the future.

Open House 2017

“Where is the washroom?” This was one of the most popular questions encountered by several TTC students early in the morning of 18 January 2017. These students were volunteers staffing the registration booths at TTC’s annual Open House. It was to be a day of questions.

68 Years of Theological Education

On 7th October 2016, Trinity Theological College (TTC) marked 68 years of God’s faithfulness with a full day of celebratory activities that was kickstarted by a thanksgiving service held in the TTC Chapel. Before a chapel filled with students and faculty, Dr Ngoei Foong Nghian delivered the opening address, giving thanks to God for TTC’s growing involvement in the church and public square, and encouraging the College to continue in obedient service as an expression of gratitude to God.

Cultural Night 2016

The rich diversity of the TTC community was once again on display at the annual TTC Cultural Night held on 2 September. To this freshman observer, the unspoken theme of the event seemed to be Arts and Hearts. The evening began with a display of global food arts – Korean Kimchi, British scones, Mongolian sweet curd, Chinese dumplings, Vietnamese noodles, Malaysian nasi lemak… Special mention must go to knife-wielding Jacob (BD 3) for his durian-opening arts.
