Spiritual Retreat for First-Timers
SYNOPSIS
Have you always longed for some time and space to experience a personal silent retreat but never got round to doing so?
Or perhaps you have wondered what spiritual retreats are all about?
If this describes you, we invite you to the Fri–Sat 30–31 Oct overnight spiritual retreat which is specially designed for those who have never been to one before.
Over two days, you will be guided on the practices of silence, reflective scripture reading, and spiritual journaling.
Come and experience your first spiritual retreat.
Those who have been to a spiritual retreat are also welcome to use the time for rest and prayer.

2026 TTC RETREAT DIRECTORS
Rev Dr Jimmy Tan has been leading retreats at TTC since 2015. He is an ordained minister in The Presbyterian Church in Singapore, a lecturer in pastoral and practical theology at TTC, and the author of How then shall we guide?: A comparative study of Ignatius of Loyola and John Calvin as spiritual guides. He regularly offers pastoral guidance to students and pastors, and assists our college to retrieve spiritual resources from our Reformed and evangelical traditions.
Rev Dr Niam Kai Huey is an ordained pastor of The Methodist Church in Singapore, currently serving as Director of the Disciple Agency and as a guest lecturer at TTC. With over twenty years of experience in spiritual direction and leading retreats, she now conducts spiritual retreats in both Chinese and English at TTC.
