Rev Dr Edmund Fong participated in two Theo Global symposiums<\/h2>\n

Over the period of 29 Jan to 4 Feb 2026, Rev Dr Edmund Fong participated in two symposiums organised by Theo Global. The Theo Global symposiums are organised yearly by Sola Media (solamedia.org\/theoglobal<\/a>) and the theme for 2026 is “God So Loved<\/em>\u00a0the World:\u00a0The God Who Justifies\u201d<\/em>. Dr Fong presented two papers, one entitled “The God Who Unites Us with His Son Through His Spirit” at Theo Global Southeast Asia (from 29 to 31 Jan) and the other entitled “Justification and the Granting of Honour: The Relationship between the two via the Atonement and Union with Christ” at Theo Global South Asia (from 2 to 4 Feb). Dr Fong is grateful for the opportunity to do theology together with brothers and sisters from Southeast Asia and South Asia, all sharing a common desire to dig deep into the riches of the theological tradition with a sensitivity to the varying contexts that we find ourselves in today. He is also happy to have made new friendships and rekindled old ones through the two symposiums.<\/p>\n
