Oh Jesus, have you forsaken me?
\nFear and loneliness have become my closest companions.<\/p>\n
In my youth you have taken me,
\nIn my love, you have deprived me.<\/p>\n
Are my children to grow up without a father, a wife without a husband?
\nMy heart rends and my tears flow night and day.<\/p>\n
In my obedience, I left when you called
\nI submitted, \u201cThy will be done\u201d.<\/p>\n
But where are you, my Lord?
\nMake yourself known, for your silence is more than I can bear.<\/p>\n
Am I not your faithful servant?
\nHave I not worshipped and prayed ceaselessly?<\/p>\n
My heart bleeds and my spirit is broken,
\nYou have sent me from my family,
\nto a far land for theological training.<\/p>\n
Do not forsake me and my family,
\nfor you are our refuge, O Lord.<\/p>\n
Keep my soul, and deliver me
\nFor fear and sorrow plague me with evil lies.<\/p>\n
But I will not be ashamed, for I put my trust in Thee,
\nFor You are with me and my loved ones.<\/p>\n
Though we are far from each other,
\nYou are near to us.<\/p>\n
My eyes are opened to see you,
\nMy heart has grown to know you.<\/p>\n
We will glorify God together,
\nMy family in Cambodia and Singapore,
\nWe will celebrate Him in unity as the family of God.<\/p>\n
