On 10 Sep 19, about 300 people, some undeterred by mobility aids, gathered at TTC to attend the 10th Senior Citizens’ Conference – SEEKING TRUTH BY FACING DEATH, organised by TTC, together with the Institute of Elders (\u4e50\u9f84\u5b66\u9662). \u00a0All the participants listened attentively to three talks in the morning, by alumnus, Rev Khoo Ho Peng, medical doctor & Singapore Hospice Council volunteer, Dr Chau Mo Yee and faculty member, Rev Dr Wilfred Ho.\u00a0 They were spoilt for choice in the afternoon with five workshops out of which to choose two. \u00a0\u00a0The participants were joyfully enriched with a renewed strength to press on in their Christian pilgrimage, knowing that \u201cdeath is not final word in life but the precursor to our resurrection,\u201d as the vice-principal Dr Edwin Tay exhorted in his opening address.<\/p>\n
