Call for Help<\/em><\/p>\n

1 YHWH, do not in your anger correct me,<\/p>\n

and do not in your wrath discipline me.<\/p>\n

2 Give grace to me, YHWH, for I am languishing;<\/p>\n

heal me, YHWH, for my bones are terrified,<\/p>\n

3 And my soul is greatly terrified.<\/p>\n

But you, YHWH, how long?<\/p>\n

4 Turn back, YHWW, deliver\/draw out my soul,<\/p>\n

save me for the sake of your steadfast love.<\/p>\n

5 For in death there is no remembrance of you;<\/p>\n

in Sheol, who will give you praise?<\/p>\n

Complaints<\/em><\/p>\n

6 I am wearied with my moaning;<\/p>\n

I cause to swim all night my bed;<\/p>\n

with my tears my couch I cause to dissolve.<\/p>\n

7 My eye wasted away from vexation;<\/p>\n

it grows weak because of all my foes.<\/p>\n

Confidence in God<\/em><\/p>\n

8 Turn away from me all workers of evil,<\/p>\n

for YHWH has heard the sound of my weeping.<\/p>\n

9 YHWH has heard my plea for grace;<\/p>\n

YHWH my prayer will take up.<\/p>\n

10 They shall be ashamed and greatly terrified all my enemies;<\/p>\n

they shall turn back ashamed in a moment.<\/p>\n
