Biography<\/h5>\n

Rev Dr Edwin Tay is an ordained minister of the Chinese Annual Conference of the Methodist Church in Singapore. He grew up attending Telok Ayer Chinese Methodist Church. Since joining the faculty of TTC in January 2013, he has served as Warden of the Family Residence and the Dean of Students. Prior to joining TTC, he served as Lecturer in Systematic and Historical Theology at the Biblical Graduate School of Theology (BGST). He is also a former staff-worker with the Fellowship of Evangelical Students.<\/p>\n

Edwin spent the first twelve years of his formal education at the Anglo-Chinese School. He read for the B.A. degree at the National University of Singapore, majoring in Psychology and Social Work. He first trained in theology at the BGST and subsequently pursued postgraduate studies at King\u2019s College, University of London where he obtained the M.A. degree in Systematic Theology. His increasing burden for theological education led to doctoral research at New College, University of Edinburgh where he was awarded the PhD degree for his dissertation on the priesthood of Christ. Edwin is married to Angela. They have two daughters, Phoebe and Chloe.<\/p>\n
