CSCA Honorary Research Associates (RA) Programme

The Honorary Research Associate Programme is designed to offer opportunity for Singapore pastors and lay people to engage in academic research on the bearing of the Christian faith on church and society in Southeast Asia today.

Appointment is by invitation, and is open to Christians who are members of the Methodist, Presbyterian, Anglican and Lutheran churches in Singapore.

RAs are invited to research on an area of their choice that can be completed within a two-year period. The areas can be very diverse: from worship and liturgy, music, and pastoral care, to areas in public theology, mission history and theology.

Appointments normally are for an initial two-year period, and are renewable upon mutual agreement. CSCA provides RAs free use of library resources, and help them publish their findings. Each RA receives a research subsidy of five hundred Singapore dollars per year.

The RAs are accountable to the Director, and may be attached to a CSCA staff or College faculty member.

If you are interested in joining this research programme, please write to the Director, CSCA, Trinity Theological College, 490 Upper Bukit Timah Road, Singapore 678093, with a brief resume and research interest.
